Tis The Season To Be Thankful...

So I got this idea of writing this post due to all of the crime and disasters going on in the world right now. So many people have tragedy's happening in their lives today. Human trafficking is MAJOR in today's society and that's just one example. It's so easy to let the Holidays get in the way of remembering what each and every day is about. Thanksgiving is a perfect example. Most of us gather with our families and eat super yummy food, Others on the other hand don't even get that. Sometimes we let that affect the real reason for the season. Some of us our blessed with amazing people in our lives that do the most for us. We dread having to get together with family members, or the inlaws but in reality we don't realize at the end of every day, each and everyone one of us is more blessed in a way than some. Christmas is a whole other story, everyone is so focused on the gifts and shopping and making sure we have all of these things or items. These things don't matter as much as we think. Family is a HUGE part of our lives and although I hate to admit, I am slacking hardcore. I get so caught up in work , or shopping, or this blog as a matter of fact. That is perfectly okay but as the Holidays sprinkle in lets remember we are limited with the number of days on this earth. We need to dig a little deeper and be thankful. The black Friday sales are great and the food is delicious but the people surrounding us are just as good. So even if it means putting on some ugly sweater and going to your moms Christmas dinner, just do it. No one lives forever. Lets show compassion, and just be thankful. Maybe I'm preaching to the choir, but I just had this sitting on my heart and I wanted to share it with you all.
