Hi everyone, I wanted to write this blog to give you all the full experience as to what it was like to get lip injections. I have wanted lip injections since I was 15 years old. I knew if I was going to grow up and get anything done it was going to be that. For me personally I was very self conscious about my lips. I didn’t like how small mine are and all of my favorite celebrities just have these amazing lips and I wanted those. So I made a consultation appointment back in 2019 with Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery just to discuss the pricing and how the process works. I talked about what I wanted and was Informed about all the different types of lip filler there is. I waited about a year and then decided it was time for me to go get them done. I saved up enough money to pay for them all on my own. Like I previously stated I made the appointment with Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery, they are the absolute best, & Jeremy’s mom works there! I’ve just heard so many great reviews on their procedures! I knew I wanted them to be the ones doing it! I had a young lady named Lauren who was highly experienced do them for me. The day of the appointment we numbed my lips with Lidocaine and wiped them with a alcohol wipe to make sure the area is clean. The Lidocaine looks like putting Vaseline all over your lips. It took about 10 minutes for my lips to become completely numb. After this we then went in with Juvederm Ultra Filler, this is the brand I chose due to how long it lasts and the ratings I’ve heard. This filler can range up to $600 typically. This is the best of the best lip filler brand and even most commonly known Celebrities such as Kylie Jenner & Tana Mongeau have this! It took about 15 minutes for the injections to be done and I instantly saw results. I did one full syringe in my lips. I could feel some of the injections even though my lips were numb. It feels like a bee sting almost. After the injections I was given a ice pack for my lips and I was all good to go! The staff was amazing and so caring and thoughtful. I would

definitely go back and do it all over again. Lip injections are not a permanent procedure all though that would be amazing, they are something you have to maintain. I plan to go back for touch ups in the future to maintain my lips because I am so much more confident now! It will take about 2 weeks for your lips to heal and in the mean time they will be bruised after. My lips have been done over a week now and are starting to look normal again. I love my final results. I will post some pictures below for you all to see the process. If you're ever in South Carolina I highly recommend Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery. I will tag their website below. Thank you for reading this blog I appreciate your time. Happy Thursday!
