Holiday To Do List

It's been a little while since I posted a new blog so I wanted to make this for you all! Christmas looks a little different for me this year but it would be incomplete without these essentials. I will link everything that can be shopped to Like To Know It.

1. Try Peppermint Mocha Hot & Iced Coffee

I personally love peppermint mocha season. I prefer iced coffee so I get my peppermint fix in a iced coffee with extra cream at Starbucks. I also love the Coffee Mate Peppermint creamer sold at Walmart or Target. Wouldn't be the holidays without it.

2. Watch Christmas Movies

I personally watch the Grinch 10 times a year but I still love it during the holidays. It's a classic. My second favorite would have to be Elf. In 3rd place I would have to say a Charlie Browns Christmas. Christmas movies put you in the holiday spirit!

3. Drink Hot Chocolate & See Christmas Lights

My family would always get hot coco and drive around and look at the Christmas lights on our neighborhood or town. I personally find it very fun for the family but still affordable.

4. Make Home Made Cookies

It's super simple to go and get pre made cookies but if you haven't made your own you should try it! I love getting creative and trying new things. You can even do this with friends or for a date. My go to cookie is peanut butter! So yummy!

5. Make Gingerbread House

Just for laughs you have to make a gingerbread house or try to. I never was good at it but it's fun with other people and you can even make a competition out of it. Kits are sold at Walmart.

6. Wear Festive Pajamas

I live for festive cute pajamas! I can recommend Pink Lily holiday pajamas or even Walmart! Super affordable and even perfect for family matching! Will link some below.

7. Do a Gift Exchange

My fav part of the holidays is really giving gifts! It's great to receive but I love giving! Exchanging a gift with a friend warms my heart and I love to see their reaction.

8. Go To James Island Holiday Light Show

If you're in Charleston you have to go to James Island county park during the holidays for their light show! Bring your holiday hot coco or coffee on the go. You can drive through in your car and they have thousands of Christmas lights to see.

9. Buy Holiday Scent Candle

I recommend buying a candle with your favorite holiday scent! I prefer a cinnamon apple scent for this time of the year. I typically get my candles from Tj max. This will definitely put you in the holiday mood!

10. Be Kind to Yourself

This has been a stressful year. Don't lose the true meaning of this time of year. Whether you celebrate alone, together or apart. This holiday season can still be amazing.

Thank you for reading this blog! Merry Christmas
